Taylor Lantz tallied twice in the third period in helping the Greenway Raiders skate to a 3-3 overtime tie with St. Paul Johnson at the Hodgins-Berardo Arena in Coleraine on Thursday which marked the first day of the Greenway Invitational. Joe O’Toole scored as well for the Raiders in the tie. Mike Jones, Jesse Solheid and Christian Sanda scored for the Governors in the game. Austin Anick finished with 34 saves on 37 shots while Samuel Moberg finished with 26 saves on 29 shots. The tie for the Raiders snaps a five-game losing streak.
However, the Raiders suffered a 3-2 defeat to Waconia on Friday and an 8-2 defeat to Northfield on Saturday. Austin Sanderson and Taylor Lantz scored for the Raiders against Waconia while it was Kole Kalisch and Justin Guyer tallying for the Raiders in the defeat against Northfield.
