Chairman Nick Matanich called the meeting to order at 6 p.m. Those present were Supervisors Nick Matanich, Jay Kolar, and Joe Zeleznikar. Also present was Clerk Tara DeGuiseppi, Steve Hofer, Aaron Mikulich, and Bruce Johnson.
Kolar motioned to approve the minutes of the April 7, 2014 meeting, seconded by Zeleznikar, all voted in favor, motion carried.
Resident Bruce Johnson inquired about purchasing the pontoons from the old swim rafts. DeGuiseppi will check into the process for selling obsolete equipment.
Zeleznikar motioned to approve an amended treasurer’s report, seconded by Kolar, all voted in favor, motion carried. Kolar motioned to approve claims, seconded by Zeleznikar, all voted in favor, motion carried.
Zeleznikar motioned to remove Robert Vekich and Robert Staydohar as authorized signers on the bank account. Zeleznikar and Kolar would be added to the account. Motion was seconded by Kolar, all voted in favor, motion carried.
The board decided that due to the limited amount of gravel, gravel hauling to residents will be discontinued and gravel will be used for Township use only. The board will consider hardships on a case-by-case basis.
A new sign implementation plan also was discussed. Mikulich is gathering information and will put together a plan.
Hofer updated the board on the status of the gate at the old swimming beach on Swan Lake. The gate is locked and will remain locked until a complaint is received. If complaints start coming in, the board will have the land surveyed.
