Because of broken water pipes, the Keewatin Police Department Office, located in City Hall, suffered extensive water damage. A remodel of the office from floor to ceiling was in order. While the remodel was in process, office operations were temporarily moved to the council chambers. Except for the arrival of a few office items, the remodel is complete and the department is back in its regular location. Police Chief Paul Fairbanks expressed his satisfaction over the new surroundings and his pleasure to be back in ‘the department office’.
